Too much?

So it seems as though every working woman in Manhattan owns a Longchamp Le Pliage bag. While these bags are extremely cute and practical (they fold up so you can store them!), I am kind of getting sick of them. I go back-and-forth between wanting one and never wanting to see one ever again.

So why do I have these mixed feelings? Well, for one thing, I am kind of wondering why I am starting to see them again all of a sudden. It seemed as though EVERY single girl in my high school class had one. My one friend had a bag in every color (there are 12) and in several different styles (there are 16). I guess I am just over them.

But hey, if you are going to get one (or if I ever decide to get one), I say go for the customized Le Pliage. Mix and match the colors. Make it unique. Make it your own.

What’s the story, Morning Glory?

I was lucky enough to witness the filming of Morning Glory, a film starring Rachel McAdams, Diane Keaton, Jeff Goldblum, and Harrison Ford.

Rachel and co-star Patrick Wilson were filming a scene in Bryant Park today for the film, which is due out in 2010.  While I couldn’t hear anything, it appeared that the two were having an argument in the scene. Rachel was also carrying a black Longchamp bag.

I was surprised at how close I could get to the filming (as long as I wasn’t in the way of any shots)!  The whole crew seemed nice and there were tons of paparazzi around the park as well.  Their trailers were set up on W. 43rd Street between Fifth Avenue and Avenue of the Americas.  There have been some other shots on the internet from filming on the 43rd Street side of the Grace Building.  I took pictures and some video from today, and will be loading them up soon.

Be sure to check back!
