“What does this song mean? My whole life, I don’t know what this song means…I mean, ‘Should old acquaintance be forgot’? Does that mean that we should forget old acquaintances, or does it mean if we happen to forget them, we should remember them, which is not possible because we already forgot?”.
–When Harry Met Sally
2009 is winding down. Will you be making any resolutions for the new year?
It sounds bad, but I never really make resolutions. I am still deciding if I will make any for 2010. There have been a lot of changes in 2009 – good and bad – so I might just wait and see what 2010 brings me and make the best of it.
I hope you all had a good 2009. Wishing you a happy and healthy 2010…
One of the many new movies coming out that I want to see – Valentine’s Day.
It looks like it might be similar to Love, Actually (one of my favorite movies), so I am hoping it will be great. While I love movies with that “fairytale” kind of love, I appreciate the ones with messed up, awkward love even more. It makes them more real. It makes you feel like you are living in the movie itself.
Like I said to J a few days ago, I think this movie has the great potential of making me feel depressed about my love life. Although I probably won’t be seeing it with a date this Valentine’s Day, I will still go. My friends and I can splurge on Ben & Jerry’s after it. Can’t wait.
Because this week, my family had to try and fix each other. We will get there.
Love and miss you.
In honor of Rose.

Wishing you and your families a most wonderful and blessed Christmas!
Although we have had some rough times this year, my family also has much to celebrate, and for that, we are forever thankful!
Looking forward to a happy and healthy New Year!

I am really bad this year. I have not purchased any Christmas presents…and it is next week. So I have turned to online browsing and shopping to get everything done. Here’s a preview of some great gift ideas for my friends and family.
Audrey Hepburn: Int’l Cover Girl
Great for my friend C. She idolizes Audrey, so this book is perfect for her.
My friend M loves anchors. Cute enough to wear out. Subtle enough that she can wear it to work.
My sister B is forever borrowing my headbands. This one would be great for her to wear to school…the color would look great with her uniform!
Talking Moo Mixer
This is just annoying and funny enough to give to my brother. And he would use it.
Perfect for mom. You can lounge around in it, or just throw it on to run errands or go to dinner with friends.
Pen Pot Cognac
To help dad keep his desk a little more organized.
