I am determined to make it to this bakery by the end of the summer. When eating a gluten-free diet, it is sometimes hard to find dessert items that actually taste good and not like dry cardboard. So instead of gazing longingly into the windows of the Crumbs I pass every day, I am going to do something about it. I am going to make my way down to Broome Street and get a red velvet cupcake (among some other snacks) at Babycakes.
Babycakes offers sweets that are wheat, gluten, dairy, casein, and egg free. They also use natural sweeteners (agave nectar). While I haven’t tasted anything from this bakery yet, I have heard many good things about them.
