Cherry Blossoms

The cherry blossoms have bloomed in DC! I have some family down by DC, so I have visited many, many times. It is such a great city and I would love to go back now that I am older. I need experience the nightlife!
Here is a pic of the cherry blossoms in a storm. The blossoms are so pretty and the contrast with the storm makes such an amazing picture!

Posh was spotted in London wearing flip flops AND baggy jeans? What is this world coming to?
The jeans are probably still only a size 0.

Moving Out

We all have plans for the future. Yesterday, while enjoying the beautiful weather outside with some coffee, J, K, and I were discussing our plans of moving into the city a year after we graduate. We fully plan on having amazing jobs in the magazine and publishing worlds and want to share an apartment…with exposed brick walls. Shabby chic. Pillows that don’t match. Hints of the Victorian era. Lavender, sage green, and dove gray accents. Books overflowing on the shelves. That’s how we roll.

Here are some suggestions for the decor. We probably won’t be able to afford any of it, so we will be doing a lot of thrift shopping.

Rococo Chalkboard Wall Decal – Urban Outfitters

We can leave notes to each other. We can share our favorite literary quotations. While I love Post-Its, this is much more classy.

Puddle Jumper Plant
– Urban Outfitters

We discussed that we would like to have flowers around…and I’m sure that this adorable plant will remind J of her Wellies!

Lulu Chair
– Flourish Smoke – Urban Outfitters

Love the floral pattern. Great chair to curl up in to read a classic like Pride and Prejudice.

Antoinette Fainting Sofa – Aubergine – Urban Outfitters

A fainting sofa! How 19th century! While I doubt any of us would actually use it for fainting, it would be such a fun addition to our humble dwelling. Would provide additional seating for guests too!

Owl Umbrella Stand – Urban Outfitters

I have always loved the idea of umbrella holders, but I have never had luck with umbrellas. I’ve resorted to hats and hoods…or just enjoying the rain. This is just too cute to pass up, though…I will give umbrellas another try.

Dot Rose Lamp Shade – Urban Outfitters

How pretty!

Live Long and Prosper

I saw this picture of Reese Witherspoon while sitting in class and immediately started laughing. It’s probably because I learned how to do the Vulcan salute at a young age…my dad used to watch Star Trek.

Just something that made me smile today.

Who is preggers???

So, it is being reported that someone may be pregnant on The Office…WHO??
Phyllis hinted at the possibility of a baby at the “Inside The Office” panel.
She said this to E!:

“I found out something this past week too, but I can’t tell you that. It might develop in about nine months or so, so we’ll see how it goes.”

Who do you think it is going to be?

Also, Jenna Fischer said that she doesn’t think that Jim and Pam’s wedding will take place this season. 😦
John Krasinski had this to say about the wedding – “Hopefully we get married. Hopefully. If not, why are any of us watching if we don’t get married, right? I think it’s one of those things where the engagement was so special that we have to make the wedding equally special.” SWOON.

New Hilary Duff

So, I saw this trailer for Hilary Duff’s new movie, Greta. I remember when they were filming in Ocean Grove (JERSEY SHORE!!), so I have kind of been waiting to see what the movie was going to be like. Looks like a departure from her other films (like, let’s say, A Cinderella Story…). A little indie, a little gritty, a lot angsty.
Anyone going to go see it?

Here’s the trailer.
