So, during my senior year of high school, my school won a radio contest and got to have Ashlee Simpson and Ryan Cabrera perform a private concert for us. This “concert” happened less than a week after her infamous Saturday Night Live performance…she did sing live at our school!
Somehow, someone found a video of her the concert on the Ashlee Simpson Show on YouTube…so ridiculous!

Need something cheap and fun to do in New York City this winter? Visit The Pond and the Holiday Shops at Bryant Park!
Ice-skating is free (and only $12 for rental skates) and it is not as much of a tourist trap as Rockefeller Center is during the upcoming months.
It was a spur-of-the-moment decision (and I was slightly nervous since I had only been skating one other time), but my friends and I had a great time when we went the night it opened!
